For anyone intimidated by the complexity of golf rules and club etiquette, the UK Golf League is a welcome innovation. Based around nine holes, it allows beginners and juniors to play competitive golf without handicaps or club membership, in a relaxed and friendly environment. These players can take part in team leagues, where players of a similar standard are put together. The goal is to put enjoyment into the game at any level, whilst helping players improve.
We were approached by the League to come up with an app that supported these aspirations and enhanced the branding. The app gives live updates of scores, allows members to record stats and then enters them into the League. They can monitor their progress over time and use the data as encouragement.
The UK Golf League was founded by PGA professional Oli Tucker and continues to grow. We are pleased that the app has helped more people enjoy the game.
