Whilst travel has become more accessible thanks to the online companies, booking a trip can be frustrating and impersonal, taking some of the thrill out of it. Tony Sheldon Travel is a Maidenhead-based company that has been in the industry for over 36 years and prides itself on the personal touch, backed up by extensive knowledge.
They required an app that would focus on brand awareness and showcase their business. The resulting app demonstrates a host of features that range from a flight tracker and airport arrival/departure notifications to information about their baggage.
We added geo-fencing capabilities, which means that as soon as travellers enter a particular area (say, a motorway junction) they receive a courteous text message when they leave and return. Customer feedback states that this is a very popular feature. Furthermore, we re-designed their website and incorporated a drag-and-drop facility that makes it easy for users when altering the site.
They were so happy that they asked us to design and develop their website, so that they could update it at a touch of a button.
