JRM is the ‘supreme supplier’ of the janitorial industry, acting as a direct supplier and also wholesaler to many other companies. When they came to us, the brief was for an app that would showcase their business and allow customers to order quickly and effectively from a smartphone.
We developed a system that identifies JRM’s customer and their location; as every site has different products for the customer, it displays the top 20 items that they usually request. Predictive ordering speeds up the process, especially as JRM lists over 35,000 items.
The order then goes straight to head office where it’s picked for delivery. At the delivery point, the client signs the app to confirm receipt of the cleaning products and this triggers an invoice. Not only does this cut down on a huge amount of paperwork, but all orders are trackable. Now JRM can truly offer what they describe as a “no-fuss and no-nonsense quality of service that is probably unrivalled in the janitorial industry today.”
